APEGA · P.Eng.MBA · University of Nebraska–LincolnQueen’s · B.Eng. Mining EngineeringCanadian Securities CourseEnglish & Arabic

Zeid is a multidisciplinary mining leader whose career spans integrated planning, major-project development, mine and tailings operations, joint-venture governance, asset reliability, and workforce leadership.

As a project development lead and senior joint-venture advisor within a major Canadian energy and mining organization, Zeid represented owner interests in partner governance and helped lead development work supporting a large-scale oil-sands acquisition and operatorship transition. His portfolio included a major mine-extension program through gate reviews and board sanction, regional feed-supply strategy, materials-handling infrastructure, and business-process development for an interconnect pipeline and production readiness.

Zeid also brings direct accountability for large-scale execution. He has led mine and tailings operations teams of more than 200 people, commissioned high-profile pit water-management and subsurface-well infrastructure, supported a major oil-sands mining development from construction through first production and into full operations, and connected long-range strategy to budgets, forecasts, 12-week plans, production systems, and field priorities. An MBA, mining engineering degree, Canadian Securities Course, and published mineral-processing research add commercial and technical depth to the operating judgement he brings to complex decisions.
